I'm FEATURED on the new blog THE ARKITECT STUDIO

I'm happy to announce that I've been featured as the first artist on my good friend Matt Trotter's blog, The Arkitect Studio.

The Arkitect Studio is a new blog site that is for people who like art, design work, and music. Matt characterized it as "a digital journal of all my architecture design work and music productions" which I think is an awesome combination of art. I hope to do the same with Urban Design, photography, and graphics in the near future so I love what Matt has come up with here.

The Arkitect Studio will feature artists from many genres of art so if you were excited by anything you just read, go and visit the Arkitect Studio and then visit here and back to the Arkitect Studio then praise God, then back here, etc so on.

Week of 8.9.10 - LA Eventures

These shots are from my day shooting various events in Downtown LA. I liked the shots on this so I'm just showing these. Events: the Tanabata Festival, the Mad Decent Block Party, and Dancing at Olvera Street

The Tanabata Festival @ the Japanese American Museum - Awesome performance, singing and swinging a sword around with the red robe and wooden shoes on? wow

Hanging decorations by community groups - Tanabata Festival - A visually spectacle. I'm happy I stumbled across this cuz it was perfect for the purpose of the day to shoot

the Mad Decent Block Party - Downtown LA Industrial Core - Really good music, lots cool hipsters

Olvera Street Dancing - would've joined in but I probably would've looked crazy with my minimal of latin dance skills, BUT I'm learning and I'll be out there soon

Waiting @ the Little Tokyo/Arts District Metro Station - just messing around. If we're not careful, us photographers won't get pictures of ourselves cuz we're behind the camera

the Little Tokyo/Arts District Metro Station - Just my shoe - this pair of chucks has our special to me cuz they've walked on Arabian sand, the Motherland, and Caribbean Islands; I'll only get rid of them when they completely disintegrate & cease to be shoes
